A different job for each side of the tread.
The AC818 is an asymmetric performance passenger tyre designed to bring together road grip, steering support and everyday comfort. Smaller tread elements on the inner section work with larger blocks on the outer section, giving the pattern a distinct division of roles.
The outer blocks provide a substantial contact area and support under cornering forces. The inner pattern adds smaller tread elements for road grip, while the arrangement of blocks and grooves is designed to manage pattern noise. A carbon-polymer compound supports traction while limiting rolling resistance, with the overall design balancing lateral support and flexibility as the tyre rolls.

Load / speed: the load index and speed symbol identify the tyre’s rated capacity and speed category. A pair of load indexes gives the single and dual fitment ratings. Match your vehicle’s requirements.
XL and ply rating: XL identifies an extra-load tyre. A ply rating describes a strength category; it is not a count of the physical layers in the sidewall.
¹ UTQG: shown as treadwear / traction / temperature. These are comparative test grades, not a mileage promise. The traction grade relates to straight-line wet braking, rather than cornering.
